Coalition launches 32 strikes in Syria, Iraq

WASHINGTON, March 10 (KUNA) -- The US-led coalition against the so-called Islamic State (IS) launched 32 strikes in Syria and Iraq Thursday, consisting of 104 engagements, the Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve (CJTF-OIR) said in its daily report.
In Syria, 19 strikes "consisting of 34 engagements" hit IS targets near Al-Raqqah, and Dayr Az Zawr, the report showed.
In Iraq, 13 strikes "consisting of 70 engagements" hit IS targets near Al-Huwayjah, Bayji, Mosul, Sinjar, and Tal Afar, the report said. (end) ak.ma
