Turkish army beefs up troops along Syria borders

ANKARA, Feb 24 (KUNA) -- The Turkish army deployed more troops and military equipment to its camps in Kilis city near the Syrian borders on Friday.
The reinforcements, including armored-plated personnel carriers, reached Elbeyli town near Kilis, Anadolu Agency reported, citing military sources.
Earlier today, the Turkish-backed Free Syrian Army regained full control over Al-Bab city, north Syria, after fierce battles against the so-called Islamic State (IS) group. (end) rs.gb
