Jordanian jet fighter crashes in Saudi territories - coalition

JEDDAH, Feb 24 (KUNA) -- A Jordanian (F-16) jet fighter crashed in Najran's sector, Saudi territories, due to a technical glitch, official media reported Friday.
The fighter pilot survived the crash, the command of coalition to support legitimacy in Yemen confirmed in a statement, according to Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The pilot, First Lieutenant Adnan Naeem Nabbas, managed to eject and escape safely without injuries, a Jordanian military spokesman said in a statement today, according to Jordan News Agency (PETRA).
Nabbas will be sent home later in coordination with the Royal Saudi Air Force, the spokesman noted. (end) nh.ma
