Kuwait partakes in Safaqis Child Book Fair

By Khaled Jabbar SAFAQIS, Tunisia, Feb 25 (KUNA) -- Kuwait is keen on participating in cultural events dedicated for children, said a visiting official of the Gulf State.
Kuwait National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters (NCCAL) has been exerting enormous efforts to back children's events and activities, holding annual workshops and seminars for the very young generation, said Mariam Salmin, supervisor of children education at the NCCAL.
She told KUNA on margins of here participation in Safaqis Child Book Fair that the Kuwaiti delegation would old on sidelines of the fair literary and artistic workshops about, themed literature for the children.
The 24th edition of the fair got underway earlier today, with participation of 13 countries including Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Qatar. (end) kj.rk
