NASA reveals existence of seven earth-like planets

WASHINGTON, Feb 22 (KUNA) -- NASA has announced the discovery of seven "exoplanets" that it says are comparable to the size of earth, and may also hold water.
At a news conference Wednesday, astronomers said the planets' temperate nature means they have the potential to support life.
The planets are closely aligned and all orbit the same star - the TRAPPIST-1 - which is 40 light years away, astronomers explained.
TRAPPIST-1 is believed to provide just enough energy to keep the planets warm, despite it providing 200 times less light than the Sun, astronomers noted. (end) ys.hb
