Tillerson discusses N. Korea with Chinese State Councilor

WASHINGTON, Feb 22 (KUNA) -- US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson spoke with Chinese State Councilor Yang Jiechi to affirm the "importance of a constructive bilateral relationship" among other areas of mutual concern.
"The two sides agreed on the need to address the threat that North Korea poses to regional stability," said a statement from the State Department.
The leaders also discussed economics and trade, potential cooperation on counterterrorism, and law enforcement around transnational crime, it added. (end) ak.gta
