Saudi Arabia accuses Iran of topping "terrorism sponsoring" list

MUNICH, Germany, Feb 19 (KUNA) -- Saudi Foreign Minister Adel Al-Jubeir on Sunday accused Iran of topping the "terrorism sponsoring" list.
"Iran remains the biggest sponsor of terrorism in the world, it insists on undermining order in the Middle East, and it is hard to cooperate with a state like Iran if it fails to heed to demands that call for a change in behavior," Al-Jubeir said in remarks at the Munich Security Conference (MSC).
He said Iran "has been interferring in affairs of neighboring countries, supporting the Syrian regime and the Houthis in Yemen, and other terrorist groups in the region," he said.
Al-Jubeir also accused Iran of "destabilizing Bahrain and planting terrorist cells in the country.
He urged the international community to put "red lines" for Iran so the Islamic Republic would not cross them. (end) anj.bs
