Kuwait takes part in Islamic meeting in Mali

KUWAIT, Jan 26 (KUNA) -- A delegation of the parliamentary caucus, headed by its chief MP Odah Al-Ruwaiee, took part Thursday in the 19th session of the public committee of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, hosted by the capital of Mali.
MP Al-Ruwaiee said in a statement that the conferees elected chairman and deputy chairman from nominees representing the Arab and Asian groups. They handled other issues such endorsing financial documents and some budgets.
The meeting in the capital of Mali was also attended by Allam Al-Kanderi, the secretary general of the National Assembly, and other leading Kuwaiti legislators. (end) hrz.rk
