CAIRO, Jan 20 (KUNA) -- Egyptian President Abdelfatah Al-Sisi said he looks forward to cementing and boosting the "strategic relations with the US on all levels."
Al-Sisi offered sincere congratulations to the US 45th President Donald Trump who took the oath of office earlier today, an Egyptian presidential statement said on Friday.
He wished Trump every success in his mission in order to meet hopes and aspirations of the American people, it added.
Egypt vioced its hope that Trump's tenure would witness a new start of "fruitful consultations and cooperation" between the two sides to achieve the two nations' interests and benefits, as well as stability, peace and development in the Middle East region which face challenges. (end)
