WASHINGTON, Jan 18 (KUNA) -- The US-led coalition against the so-called Islamic State (IS) launched 23 airstrikes in Syria and Iraq Tuesday, the Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve (CJTF-OIR) said in its daily report.
In Syria, 17 strikes hit IS targets near Abu Kamal, Al Bab, Ar Raqqah, Ayn Isa, and Day Az Zawr, the report showed.
In Iraq, six strikes hit IS targets near Huwayjah and Mosul, the report said. (end)
