Istanbul's nightclub attacker belongs to IS - Turkish Min.

ANKARA, Jan 18 (KUNA) -- Turkey's Justice Minister Bekir Bozdag said Wednesday that all data indicated that the suspect, who carried out the New Year's attack on a nightclub in Istanbul, was linked to so-called Islamic State (IS).
Uzbek national Abdulkadir Masharipov, who captured on Monday in Istanbul, is linked to IS, Minister Bekir Bozdag told Turkish Anadolu News Agency.
The man, suspected of shooting dead 39 people in Reina nightclub, was tracked down through camera recordings and digital information before being arrested, said the minister. (end) rs.ss
