The forum honored American artist and social activist Forest Whitaker for promoting peace and peaceful coexistence, and launching a number of development initiatives.
The event also granted Colombian pop singer Shakira an award for her role in educating more than six thousand children in her hometown, supporting economically their families through small and medium-sized enterprises.
