ANKARA, Jan 12 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti Patient Helping Fund Society (PHF) is sending a medical team to Reyhanli town in Hatay Province, south of Turkey, to treat wounded Syrian Refugees.
PHF head of public relations and leader of the team, Hamad Al-Omairi, told KUNA on Thursday that his team will spend three days in Turkey to where they will treat Syrian refugees who have been seriously injured due to airstrikes against Syria's Aleppo.
In addition to medical care, the Kuwaiti team will give moral support to the Syrian refugees and will try to bring cheers to their hearts under these critical circumstances. The Kuwaiti team will pay various visits to medical and psychosocial clinics in the province.
Reyhanli is a town and district of Hatay Province, on the Mediterranean coast of Turkey, near the country's border with Syria.
Syrian refugees in this town amounts to 130,000, while its local population is merely 90,000.
The Turkish government only allows 20 injured Syrian refugees to cross its border daily to receive medical treatment. (end) rs.nfm
