KUWAIT, Jan 12 (KUNA) -- An American soldier has committed suicide by shooting himself with his gun at a camp for the US forces in the south of the country, the Ministry of Interior said on Thursday.
The official statement indicated that the soldier, after shooting himself, was transported to Al-Addan Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
An investigation is underway into the case circumstances. (end)
