Kuwait's Minister of Justice and Minister of State for National Assembly Affairs Dr. Falah Al-Azab during the honoring ceremony
CAIR0, Jan 5 (KUNA) -- Cairo University (CU) has honored Kuwait's Minister of Justice and Minister of State for National Assembly Affairs Dr. Falah Al-Azab, an alumnus of the prestigious academic institution.
Speaking to KUNA, Al-Azab said he was ecstatic to have received "a token of love and appreciation" from the venerable university.
The Kuwaiti Minister of Justice, who was honored alongside a bevy of exemplary academicians, dedicated the accolade to the Kuwaiti leadership and people.
Moreover, the visiting Kuwaiti minister underscored a "broad and comprehensive" agreement for legal and judicial cooperation that was signed with his Egyptian counterpart.
Meanwhile, the President of CU hailed Kuwait's "rich and historic constitution", describing the country as a "bastion of democracy" in the Arab world.
In a statement to KUNA, he spoke of the Egyptian peoples' fondness for Kuwait, expressing hope that ties between both nations will further develop. (end)
