Lebanon's top maker meets with KFAED chief

BEIRUT, Dec 16 (KUNA) -- Lebanese Parliament Sspeaker Nabih Berri met with visiting Director-General of the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) Abdulwahab Al-Bader in Beirut on Friday.
Al-Bader told KUNA following the meeting that he had briefed Al-Berri on Lebanon's major development projects bankrolled by the KFAED, along with a recent loan agreement signed by the Lebanese government and the KFAED for financing a sewage project in south Lebanon.
He added that he had also expounded on the aid and donations provided by the Kuwaiti fund to Syrian refugees in Lebanon.
The major development projects funded by the KFAED have greatly contributed to the promotion of economic development in this Arab country, Al-Bader boasted.
During his visit to Lebanon, the KFAED chief has already met with Lebanese President Michel Aoun and caretaker Prime Minister Tamam Salam. (end) mah.mt
