TEHRAN, Dec 11 (KUNA) -- Iran conducted on Sunday a military drill in South East of Iran (Konarak-Iranshahr).
State television quoted the drill's spokesman Brig. Kamal Peyambari as saying that during the first day of the drill included mobilization and dispatching of quick reaction units from different geographical regions to intended operational areas in the shortest possible time from air and ground.
He added that mobility, efficiency, promoting units' readiness in responding operational needs and any kind of threat, practicing plans and expert trainings will be implemented during the drills.
He added that the drill aims at assessing the operational units in the field of tactical mobility and rapid transition, exchanging experience and management, capabilities of modern combats to young commanders, reducing the time of forces' reaction against threats and exploiting new defense systems.(end).
