His Highness the Amir pleased at outcome of GCC-UK summit

KUWAIT, Dec 7 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah has cabled British Prime Minister Theresa May expressing deep satisfaction at the atmosphere of understanding that prevailed at the GCC-UK summit.
The GCC-UK summit was an opportunity to discuss various issues of mutual concern between the GCC countries and the United Kingdom, he said, affirming that it would contribute to bolstering the distinctive ties and strategic relationship between them.
His Highness the Amir, moreover, hailed the GCC-UK meeting for touching on the deep-rooted historic ties between the two friendly countries and addressing mutual cooperation in various spheres.
