ISTANBUL, Dec 2 (KUNA) -- Turkish security forces Friday arrested 133 immigrants from different nationalities in the northwest city of Edirne while trying to travel to Europe illegally, security sources said.
The security forces arrested 133 people mostly from Syria, Vietnam, Afghanistan and Pakistan while attemtping to cross the borders illegally, the sources were quoted by the Anadolu news agency as saying.
The illegal immigrants were taken to the immigration center of the city, they said.
Turkish forces have been arresting scores of illegal immigrants who tried to reach Europe illegally. (end)
