Kuwait's Ambassador to China Samih Johar Hayat with Director General of the Department of West Asian and North African affairs of the Chinese Foreign Ministry Deng Li
BEIJING, Nov 28 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Ambassador to China Samih Johar Hayat met with Director General of the Department of West Asian and North African affairs of the Chinese Foreign Ministry Deng Li to discuss bilateral ties.
Kuwait is willing to boost the 45-year-old diplomatic ties with China on all levels, said Hayat in statement on Monday.
He added that the two sides will hold further talks in the near future on academic, military, cultural, and energy cooperation.
Moreover, they will boost negotiations on the free trade agreement between China and the Gulf countries and join efforts to execute the "Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st Maritime Silk Road" initiative, said Hayat.(end)
