Kuwait, India audit bureaus sign MoU

KUWAIT, Nov 8 (KUNA) -- State Audit Bureau (SAB) and Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) of India have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to establish cooperation and exchange expertise.
Acting Chairman of SAB said that India's audit body has a long and great expertise in this realm which would benefit its Kuwaiti counterpart in carrying out monitoring duties in relations to international standards.
CAG audits all receipts and expenditure of the Government of India and the state governments, including those of bodies and authorities substantially financed by the government. (end) ht.nfm
