Torrential rains kill 12 people, wound 43 others in Egypt

CAIRO, Oct 28 (KUNA) -- At least 12 people were killed and 45 others wounded due to torrential rains that hit several governorates across Egypt, Ministry of Health said on Friday.
Four people were killed and 19 others injured in the Red Sea's city of Ras Gharib, while two more people were electrocuted in Ismailia's city of Fayed, the ministry added in a statement.
The torrential rains blocked Sohaj-Cairo Road and some vehicles capsized, killing six people and wounding 24 others, the statement added. (end) esm.hm
