Clinton’s lead almost doubles over Trump - CNBC

WASHINGTON, Oct 27 (KUNA) -- With only 12 days before the election, Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton boosted her lead over Republican rival Donald Trump to 9 points, according to recent survey by CNBC.
The Democrats are in the lead by 46 percent to 37 percent among registered voters in a two-way race, with the same margin reported among likely voters. In June, Clinton was ahead by 5 points.
Among those who remain undecided, there are more registered Republicans than Democrats from the data which could raise hope for Trump supporters.
"A chunk of people could move to Trump and close the gap," said Republican pollster for the survey Micah Roberts. "These people are going to have to show up." The survey consisted of responses from 804 Americans of all demographics on both sides of the aisle from October 21 to 24. It has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.5 points indicating that Clintonآ’s lead could be as great as 16 points or as low as 2 points. (end) ak.ibi
