Kuwait Ambassador to Germany Munther Al-Essa during Equate Petrochemical in an international trade exhibition for plastics and rubber in Dusseldorf
KUWAIT, Oct 27 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Ambassador to Germany Munther Al-Essa said Thursday that participation of Equate Petrochemical in an international trade exhibition for plastics and rubber in Dusseldorf, Germany is part of efforts to turn the country into a global financial and economic hub.
In a statement received by KUNA, Ambassador Al-Essa made the remarks after the conclusion of Dusseldorf plastics and rubber K-trade 2016 fair, the largest of its kind in the world.
Al-Essa explained that such goal comes from the directives of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to transform Kuwait into a global financial and economic center by through many elements, including the economic diversification through development of Kuwaiti industrial sector, which is a fundamental pillar in this area.
He added that Kuwait industrial sector is a world-class one that produces several key commodities such as petrochemicals used in plastics and other manufactured products.
For his part, General Manager of Marketing of polyethylene in EQUATE and Chairman of EQUATE Marketing Company Ahmad Al-Saleh said the company worked over the past 20 years to form a close cooperation with all relevant parties, locally and globally. (end)
