KNPC quashes reports on raising fuel prices

KUWAIT, Oct 26 (KUNA) -- The Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) has denied media reports that petrol prices would be raised next December.
Some media outlets claimed that KNPC's Deputy CEO for Support Services Basem Al-Eissa made a statement in this regard and this is untrue, the company said in a press statement on Wednesday, denying such reports.
It added that it previously announced that the subsidies committee formed in accordance with a resolution by the cabinet is the only body that tasked with setting and reviewing prices of petrol byproducts across the county. (end) osj.ash.hm
