Deaths in Quetta attack increases to 60 people

ISLAMABAD, Oct 25 (KUNA) -- The militant attack targeting a police training center in Pakistan's Quetta city, southwest of the Balochistan province, left at least 60 security men dead and around 165 others wounded.
According to Balochistan Home Minister Mir Sarfaraz Ahmed Bugti, the sprawling compound had been attacked by three militants equipped with suicide jackets.
He said that security forces killed one terrorist while two others were killed via their explosives charges. Bugti said that the compound was housing some 700 recruits at the time of the attack, hundreds of whom were rescued.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister of Pakistan, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif strongly condemned the attack and he cancelled all his scheduled commitments.. (pickup previous) sbk.gta
