Kuwait oil price up 20 cents to USD 46.73 pb

KUWAIT, Oct 25 (KUNA) -- The price of Kuwaiti oil went up 20 cents to USD 46.73 per barrels Monday after being at USD 46.53 pb last Friday, said Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) Tuesday.
At the global market, the price of oil retreated due statements linked to an Iraqi request, asking for exemption from OPEC's plans to reduce production.
Also, news regarding the resumption of production at the UK's Buzzard oil field, which produces around 180,000, also affected the price.
The price of the Brent crude went down 32 cents to settle at USD 51.46 per barrel, the same predicament occurred to the West Texas Crude which went down 33 cents to USD 50.52 pb. (end) osj.gta
