MADRID, Oct 24 (KUNA) -- A Spanish senior official affirmed on his country keenness Monday to strengthen transportation and infrastructure cooperation with Kuwait.
In a statement to KUNA, Minister of State for Infrastructure and Transport and Housing Affairs Julio Gomez-Pomar expressed content on the activation of infrastructure and transportation MoU.
Gomez-Pomar welcomed the visit by Kuwait Undersecretary of Public Works Ministry Awatef Al-Ghunaim and her delegation to Spain.
The Spanish official added activating the MoU will pave the way for Spanish civil engineering and infrastructure development consultation companies to continue cooperation with Kuwaiti authorities to develop infrastructure projects.
In this regard, Gomez-Pomar noted that the new Kuwait international airport project is an ambitious, exceptional, and a vital project.
The Spanish official expressed pleasure for cooperation with Kuwait, asserting keenness on maintaining such high level relations with Kuwait. (Pickup previous) hnd.mb
