Five French people killed in plane crash in Malta

PARIS, Oct 24 (KUNA) -- Five French persons were killed when a reconnaissance plane they were boarding crashed after take off from Malta's Valletta international airport, the official France 24 TV reported.
The plane, carrying three defense ministry employees and two retirees, crashed seconds after take off, the TV quoted sources from Valletta airport. The destination of the plane was unknown.
France 24 said the plane was planned to carry out a reconnaissance mission as part of a campaign to fight trafficking of people and drugs.
