Ooredoo Kuwait posts KD-32-mln profits in nine months '16

KUWAIT, Oct 24 (KUNA) -- National Mobile Telecommunication Company, Ooredoo in Kuwait, announced on Monday that it posted net profits of KD 32 million for the first nine months ended on September 30, 2016.
Earnings per share (EPS) reached 64 fils in the nine months of 2016, compared with 56 fils in the same period last year, the company said in a press statement on Monday.
Revenues hit KD 555 million in the first nine months of this year, compared with KD 547 million in the same period last year, a decrease of three percent, it added. (one KD=USD 3.3) The number of customers rose by four percent to reach 24.9 million at the end of the third quarter of this year compared with 23.9 million in the same period of 2015, it noted.
