Minister of Information and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Sheikh Salman Sabah Al-Salem Al-Humoud Al-Sabah meets with director of Al-Kout television channel, Mohammad Al-Sayegh
KUWAIT, Oct 24 (KUNA) -- Private television stations in the State of Kuwait play a major role in news reporting and guiding citizens and promoting their concerns, said Minister of Information and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Sheikh Salman Sabah Al-Salem Al-Humoud Al-Sabah on Monday.
Minister Sheikh Salman, during reception of director of Al-Kout television channel, Mohammad Al-Sayegh, urged the private media, namely the television stations, to back the State information apparatuses in covering forthcoming parliamentary elections.
Separately, Minister Sheikh Salman received Chief Executive Officer of the Kuwait Touristic Enterprises Company Abdulwahab Al-Marzouq, discussing cooperation for promoting tourism in the country.
Kuwait has the potentials to develop this sector and turn into a tourist attraction, he said. (end)
