Coalition launches 4 strikes against IS in Syria, 10 in Iraq

WASHINGTON, Oct 24 (KUNA) -- Coalition military forces conducted 14 strikes against the so-called Islamic State (IS), four in Syria and 10 in Iraq, the Combined Joint Task Force announced on Monday. In Syria, the strikes hit areas near Ar Raqqah, Manbij and Palmyra, the announcement said.
In Iraq, the strikes hit near Ar Rutbah, Bashir, Mosul, Rawah and Sultan Abdallah, the statement said. (end) rm.msa
