KUWAIT, Oct 23 (KUNA) -- Egyptians contributed to Kuwait's prosperity, development in various fields, Kuwait's Minister of Information said Sunday.
Sheikh Salman Al-Sabah, also Minister of State for Youth Affairs and President of the National Council for Culture, Art and Letters (NCCAL), made the remarks to reporters on the sideline of Traditional Egyptian tent art "Al-Kheyamia" exhibition.
Sheikh Salman added Kuwait has opened its doors to Egyptians because they hold them dear to their heart, wishing them progress and prosperity.
Egypt stands with Kuwait with its cultural experts and specialists, including contribution by Egyptian Zaki Tulaimat to Kuwait's theater since its establishment, Sheikh Salman noted.
The minister indicated the strong bond between the two countries.
Meanwhile, Sheikh Salman said the exhibition showcase Egyptian's civilization, its deep-rooted Arab, Islamic, and historical relations in Islamic culture, affirming on NCCAL keenness to be present in Egyptian activities. (end) shd.mb
