DOHA, Oct 23 (KUNA) -- Qatar Father Amir Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad Al-Thani passed away Sunday at the age of 84, the Amiri Diwan announced.
The diwan, in a statement cited by the official QNA news agency, announced the death of Sheikh Khalifa, and prayed to Allah the Almighty to bestow his blessing upon his soul.
The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani announced a three-day mourning. (end)
