WASHINGTON, Oct 23 (KUNA) -- At least seven people died after a tour bus and a semi-truck crashed Sunday on a freeway near Palm Springs, California, the state Highway Patrol said in a statement, received in Washington DC.
At least 25 bus passengers were taken to area hospitals in Southern California, with 14 patients admitted to Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs.
Hospital officials there were quoted by local media as saying five patients were listed in critical condition. (end)
