WASHINGTON, Oct 21 (KUNA) -- US Secretary of State John Kerry on Friday commended the big role carried out by Kuwait towards solving regional crises.
Kerry, in remarks at a Kuwait-US Strategic Dialogue session, said Kuwait also played a great role to alleviate humanitarian suffering of the people in need, specially in Iraq, Syria and Yemen.
Kerry also praised the level of relations between the US and Kuwait in different domains.
Kuwait's First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah said the leaders of Kuwait and US were keen on pushing forward strategic relations to new levels.
The two sides discussed defense, security, cultural, consular, trade, investment and energy issues. (pickup previous) sd.bs
