Some 15 people added to Dutch terrorism list

BRUSSELS, Oct 20 (KUNA) -- The names of 15 people have been added to the Dutch terrorism list, bringing the total to 76, Dutch media reported onThursday quoting Dutch Foreign Minister Bert Koenders.
The majority are involved in terrorist activities in Iraq and Syria, he noted.
Assets of people on the terrorism list are frozen in the Netherlands. Friends and families are also banned from giving money to people on the list and face a fine or jail if they do so.
Koenders said his country shares the list with the rest of the EU. "It is important that our European partners know who is a terrorist threat and whose assets need to be frozen," said added. (end) nk.msa
