Bahraini min. lauds Kuwait's founding role in the ACD

MANAMA, Oct 13 (KUNA) -- Bahraini Minister of State for Follow-up Affairs Mohammed Al-Mutawa lauded the Amir of Kuwait His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah's fundamental role in setting up the Asian Cooperation Dialogue (ACD), as Kuwait is a founding member of this continent-wide forum.
The Bahraini minister made this remark to Dean of Diplomatic corps Kuwaiti Ambassador to Bahrain Sheikh Azzam Mubarak Al-Sabah, on Thursday.
Al-Mutawa pointed out that Kuwait has played a key role in strengthening the voice of Asian nations in the international arena.
Kuwaiti envoy, meanwhile, emphasized ACD's significance in a strong building an Asian Community, especially on the economic front.
The two officials stressed the strong ties that are enjoyed by both Kuwait and Bahrain. (end) mga.nfm
