Five PKK Kurds killed in Turkish air raids

ISTANBUL, Oct 11 (KUNA) -- Five Kurds were killed Tuesday after Turkish warplanes raided various Kurdistan Workers Party's (PKK) targets, destroying two hideouts.
In a statement, the Turkish army said the air raids targeted "Zar Tabh," a PKK hideout location in northern Iraq.
The statement noted the operation also destroyed weapons cache.
The army added that warplanes, after the operation, returned to their base safely. (end) ta.mb
