Suicide bombing attack kills 3 people in Baghdad

BAGHDAD, Oct 9 (KUNA) -- At least three people were killed in a suicide bomb attack in Baghdad, police said on Sunday.
An Iraqi police source told KUNA that a suicide bomber detonated his explosive-rigged belt near a funeral procession in Baghdad Al-Jadida (New Baghdad) distict east of the capital.
The so called IS often attacks such funerals, despite tight security measures. (end) ah.haq
