Kuwaiti biker wins 2nd place in US tournament

KUWAIT, Oct 5 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti biker Barrak Al-Jasmi won the second place in the US' California state championship tournament for motorcycles race, concluded late on Tuesday.
In a phone call with KUNA Wednesday, Al-Jasmi, who is representing Kuwait Quarter Mile Auto and Motorcycle Club at the event, said he participated in the 250 cc category where he won the second place.
The Kuwaiti champion added that he also came third in the 450 cc and the second place in the above 25 yrs old category, in a matter of three days.
Al-Jasmi is the first Kuwaiti to take part in an event organized by the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA).(end) ayr.amh.ag
