GCC chief meets with UN's Yemen envoy

RIYADH, Oct 4 (KUNA) -- Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary-General Dr. Abdul-Latif bin Rashid Al-Zayani met here Tuesday with UN envoy to Yemen Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed.
During the meeting, they discussed the latest developments in Yemen and UN efforts for completing Yemeni peace talks, the GCC Secretariat said in a press statement.
They also considered ways of pushing forward the political process in this Arab country in line with the GCC initiative, national comprehensive dialogue output and the UN resolution no. 2216. (end) yms.mt
