UAE-leased vessel rescued after being attacked by Ansarullah militia - coalition

JEDDAH, Oct 1 (KUNA) -- A vessel leased by the UAE Armed Forces was rescued after coming under attack by Yemeni "Ansarullah" militia, Saudi-led coalition to support legitimacy in Yemen announced Saturday.
The vessel 'SWIFT' was reportedly attacked in Bab Al Mandab Strait off the coast of Yemen.
The incident occurred while the ship was returning from a routine voyage to the port of Aden, according to a statement from the UAE Armed Forces General Command.
The Armed Forces said no one had been injured in the attack conducted by speedboats belonging to the militia.
The Coalition, in a statement put on the Saudi Press Agency, said the attack was a "dangerous indication" to the militia's terroristic intentions. (end) nh.hb
