WASHINGTON, Sept 29 (KUNA) -- A New Jersey transit train crashed through a station in Hoboken, on its way to New York City, killing at least one person and injuring over a hundred others, according to officials.
Authorities have not concluded if the event was an accident or not and is being investigated by several state and federal agencies.
Everyone has now been removed from the train and the station is cleared. The terminal is one of the busiest transit hubs in the New York Metropolitan area.
Some witnesses have claimed that the train was traveling faster than it should have been. (end)
