Russia calls statements from U.S. on Syria "emotional breakdown"

MOSCOW, Sept 29 (KUNA) -- Russia sees no alternative to deal on Syria with the US but won't accept Washington's ultimatum, said Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov on Thursday.
According to Interfax news agency, Ryabkov said that Russia will deal with the US statements on Syria as an "emotional breakdown", adding that Moscow is proposing a 48-hour "humanitarian pause" in the city of Aleppo instead of seven days.
Moreover, the US has threatened to suspend cooperation with Russia over Syria.
US Secretary of State John Kerry warned his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov on Wednesday that Washington would end talks on the conflict.
Kerry conveyed the message in a call to Lavrov in which he voiced "grave concern" over the situation on the besieged city. (end) as.haq
