Unprovoked Indian firing across LoC kills 2 Pakistani soldiers: militray

ISLAMABAD, Sept 29 (KUNA) -- At least two Pakistan Army soldiers were killed as Indian troops fired across the Line of Control (LoC) in Bhimber, hotspring, kel, and Lipa sectors of Pakistan administered Kashmir, said military on Thursday.
According to Pakistan militaryآ’s Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), Pakistani troops befittingly responded to Indian unprovoked firing on LoC in Bhimber, hotspring, kel, and Lipa sectors.
ISPR confirmed that two Pakistan army soldiers were killed in the cross border firing. Moreover, the military also rejected the Indian claim of آ‘surgical strikeآ’ saying, "Instead there had been cross border fire initiated and conducted by India which is existential phenomenon." As per rules of engagement same was strongly and befittingly responded by Pakistani troops.
"The notion of surgical strike linked to alleged terrorists bases is an illusion being deliberately generated by Indian to create false effects," said ISPR in a statement issued shortly after the Indian Director General of Military Operations (DGMO) held a press conference claiming surgical strikes.
The statement further read, "This quest by Indian establishment to create media hype by rebranding cross border fire as surgical strike is fabrication of truth." Pakistan has made it clear that if there is a surgical strike on Pakistani soil, same will be strongly responded, it added.
Prime Minister of Pakistan, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif in a statement has strongly condemned unprovoked and naked aggression of Indian forces along the LoC. "Pakistan can thwart any evil design to undermine the sovereignty of Pakistan," said PM Shairf. (end) sbk.tg
