ALGIERS, Sept 28 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Deputy Prime Minister, Finance Minister and Acting Oil Minister Anas Al-Saleh discussed with Egyptian Minister of Petroleum Tarek Al-Mullah on Wednesday, plans for further cooperation between both nations in the energy sector.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of the second day of the 15th International Energy Forum (IEF15) held in the Algerian capital.
Moreover, both officials discussed a host of issues germane to the oil sector.
On a similar note, the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) member nations are expected to meet later on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Al-Saleh is also due to preside over the ninth session of the Kuwaiti-Algerian joint committee on Thursday, a meeting set to seal the deal on a number of agreements and joint programs between the two countries. (end) ft.nam
