Blast in Baghdad kills four people

BAGHDAD, Sept 27 (KUNA) -- Iraqi police said Tuesday that four people were killed in a suicide bombing south-east of the Iraqi capital Baghdad.
An Iraqi police source told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that a suicide bomber detonated his explosive belt today in a popular market near the Al-Samarrai mosque in the New Baghdad area southeast of the capital Baghdad.
He said the blast killed four people and wounded nine others who were rushed to the hospital.
No one has yet claimed responsibility for the attack, but the source said it was likely to be carried out by the so-called Islamic state (Daesh).(end).
