Three people dead, two wounded in mall shooting in Washington state

WASHINGTON, Sept 24 (KUNA) -- Three people were killed and two were wounded in a shooting at a shopping mall in the state of Washington late on Friday, authorities said.
The shooter fled the mall in Burlington, around 100km north of Seattle, which has been evacuated, Washington State Patrol spokesman Sgt. Mark Francis told local reporters.
The shooter was armed with a rifle, Francis added, while police are "actively searching" for suspect, believed to be a man of Hispanic descent. (end) sd.tg
