Kuwaitis come 3rd in buying houses in Turkey

ANKARA, Sept 23 (KUNA) -- Kuwaitis the third place in their preference of purchasing properties in Turkey, Turkish Statistical Institute (Turkstat) announced on Friday.
According to House Sales Statistic for the month of August, Kuwaitis bought 155 houses in August putting them in third place. Iraqis came first for buying 267 houses and the Saudis came in second with 173 house sales.
House sales to foreigners decreased by 26% compared to the same period of last year, the data showed.
The total number of house sales to foreigners came to 1,512 with 390 houses sold in Istanbul alone, it added.
Other preferred cities were Antalya, Bursa, Trabzon, Yalova and Aydin. (end) rs.nfm
